Turns out with the code I was able to change this little bit off CSS to push things up a bit towards the top.

I am still digging for how to set the opacity of the top header so it is less opaque. I see how it was done with the gallery at the bottom (text-shadow: rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.5) 2px 2px 2px;) and am trying to find the spot in the code to modify the header and menu section. Perhaps you might offer a quick suggestion since I don’t think an alpha channel was specified for the headers.
