Installed Events Manager to the Mikmag theme. It has been 12 hours working to figure this out and just gave up!
Single events and other location info pages do not have sidebars and have random 4 footers below. Any of you came across with this bug?
I found another issue with the same plugin, it doesn’t show pages of categories of events as well as tags. It gives this
“error: warning: Creating default object from empty value in ….classesem-category-taxonomy.php on line 22”
Hi,
I’m afraid that we cannot ensure full compatibility with all plugins available, since there are simply too many of them out there. Make sure to stay on track with mikmag updates though, as general problem solves in updates might also affect these kinds of problems sometimes.
Thanks Kevin, I understand that. However, can you tell me what the single-post template file of the Mikmag theme is? Apparently, if i copy/rename this as a single-post.php to the directory then the events manager would pick up on that.
i’m not entirely sure but from the top of my mind it could be loop-single.php
Thanks. I think I am getting there. I have formed a single.php for the event pages but what is the default code for getting default left sidebar? For example, for eleven wp theme it would be like <?php get_sidebar(‘default-left’); ?>
but what about us? what is mikmag’s default get sidebar code?
I’m not sure, I knew the file-name from the top of my mind but I would have to dig through the theme’s code in order to find that…
I’m afraid that code specific help and help in customization exceed what we can offer as free support on our themes. We offer premium support packages and customization jobs to help our clients with these kind of things, perhaps those would be worth looking at in your case.
