I’ve been having trouble today with sidebars disappearing. First they ALL disappeared and took the footers with them too, and I had to do a server rollback to undo the damage. This was apparently caused by a bug in the theme.
Tonight it sort of happened again (when I simply changed a footer layout to see how it looked), except this time, it didn’t affect the footers and some (the oldest) of my sidebars remain untouched. All new sidebars created today have been lost again, but I notice that 10 remain. Is there a limit of 10 sidebars? If you create more than 10, are they in danger of disappearing? Could this be why they don’t stay? And if so, how do I increase or remove this limit?

Hi Rich,
I’ve also read your latest post and am sending all the information you gave us about this problem on to our development department for them to look into. Since we’ve never had this problem ourselves it’s pretty hard to pinpoint what’s going on but I hope all the info you’ve provided us with will help them get to what exactly is going on.
