Helen/Kevin,
I would appreciate a status on the update of the MikMag Theme. What do I mean by that specifically?
1. Buddy Press compatibility, specifically the GROUP function (which includes also the FORUM function)
2. Compatibility with the current WordPress version.
WooCommerce may have taken priority over these two items, however, based on our business needs the update we are waiting for is just as important. It really has been a long time since the latest WordPress was released! (I know you lost a developer in December…but that was 3 months ago!!!)
We have a lot riding on this theme based on our business model, which is why I am persistent in my questions!

Hi Beverly,
I’ve gone and informed on the status for the mikmag update.
There’s been a lot of work done, the entire framework has been re-written which should result in a good performance improvement. Other than that the list of bugs and problems we have collected should also be handled with this upcoming update.
The theme will be WP3.5 compatible, WordPress should be releasing 3.6 in about a month and it should even already be compatible with that version.
Our current schedule is that we start testing the new framework and mikmag theme next week to work out as many bugs as we may find so we can release a good working update for you guys not too long after that.

Kevin,
Thanks for your update.
Let’s hope that there aren’t too many bugs found and that the updated version can be “out the door” by the end of the month.
Have a great weekend.
Cheers,
Michael.

Happy to volunteer for testing too if it would help. I run a customized version of Mikmag on a forum site. http://lightwaverfcommunity.org.uk.

I really appreciate the proposals for beta testings on the upcoming update, thank you.
I have shared this topic with our development team so they know who to reach out to when they need more testers.
Thank you
Kevin

Hi Kevin,
Any update on the update?
I see from the FB page that the beta testers are positive – so any info on the ETA
I think there are many of us who would appreciate a bit of news.
Thanks,
