Home › Forums › Mikmag WordPress theme › I need to add brand logos under social icons
on the old version I added a table in the header.php but i cannot get this to work on version 2.0
On the screenshot you can see how it used to look, any help would be appreciated
Thanks
Shaun
What happens if you try to add it under the class=”grid col-six fit sociables” <div> layer instead?
As in: <div align=”right” style=”margin-right:22px;”>content</div> I tried it in Chrome’s element inspector and it seemed to work.
The new social icons hog up alot of space though, might have to make your logos smaller or accept they’re going to make the whole header taller.
Honestly, the new social icons are worse IMHO. The old ones were more pleasing to the eye and the search icon in mobile wraps down right behind the ‘My Account’ | Login, Logot’ top_menu. I vote Theme-Dutch reverts it.
Thanks Justin, where in the header did you add it, sorry, a bit of newbie
I added it after the <div class=”grid col-six fit sociables”>…</div> cluster that contains the list of social icons.
is that in the header.php because I can’t see that
I see what you mean, looks like in header.php it calls in that whole section from another file.. Can’t see where it is atm, I would try combing through all the files doing a search for grid col-six fit sociables or sociables to locate the DIV that is doing that. Sorry I don’t actually know just yet, trying to fix other bugs. 🙁
Hi Shaun,
I’m afraid I can’t quite help you with this one as its a theme customization thing which exceeds what we can offer as free support. We offer customization jobs for things like these or premium support to cover minor code-changes.
