We are about to upgrade from MikMag 1.3.2 to MikMag 2.0.
Is there any special advice you can give us on how to do this?
Is there any more to it than copying over the new files and perhaps reactivating the theme?
We want to make really sure we don’t lose our options, sidebars, products etc etc in the upgrade

Hi Jane,
I can advise you to make sure you keep a backup of your old theme before updating it. Just in case something might go wrong or if you find an incompatibility.
Then on to how to do it, it’s quite simple. Just download the new theme, remove (or rename) the currently installed version of the theme from your FTP and then install the new version to your FTP. The theme should be automatically activated as soon as the upload is completed as the theme name doesn’t change from the old version.
