hello, i have bought mikmag and its a great theme! love it! i do have 2 things i don’t know how to solve theme:
1. there is a grey panel of space in the top of the theme and it seems like the theme is not sitting on the zero x and zero y of the screen. i tried to solve it with a grey background but i really do want to change the background. please help me in this, don’t know what to do.
2. if i will change the background- i saw there’s a problem with the multiply the image—it does multiply it in the x but not to the high-y i put a v in the mikmag theme general setting and its not working.
please help SOS—i have a site that needs to get open in few days.
thanks a lot dafna -

Hi Dafna, for the background image, would you make sure you’ve got the following options selected.
in appearance -> mikmag -> general, select a boxed layout
in appearance -> mikmag -> general -> images check the boxes for background repeat and background 100%
As for the white area at the top, Note that this is only when logged into your account (admin in this case). Updating to wordpress 3.6 should solve this issue.

Hi Dafna,
If you wish you can send me an e-mail to kevin(a)theme-dutch.com so I can check out your website back-end. Compare your setup to ours on http://www.theme-dutch.com/presents/mikmag as that one doesn’t appear to have the same issue.
I would need a link to your website’s login (or to your website it you haven’t changed the login url)
login details of an administrator account
and preferably also a link back to this topic so I’ll know what the e-mail is about.

Hi Dafna.
I think I know what you are experiencing. Can you up upload an entire page screen capture to confirm. It looks like footer background colour #E5E5E5 with no footer columns active.
When you add footer columns, the page is pushed down along with the colour band to expose more of your background image. Increasing content in your page will expose more background image as well.
Play around with various footer activations and you will see what I am referring to.
Have a great day.
🙂

Hi Dafna,
I’ve checked your website and it appears to be a css conflict with a plugin you installed (Share+).
When deactivating that plugin, the bar is gone. Share+ has a CSS rule making the background image as high as the browser window instead of repeating in its full size.
