Hi,
I’ve bought and downloaded the theme however for some reason, updating pages individually to include the slider, widgets, footers and so forth – going to “Update” the pages, however nothing ever saves?
It reverts back to the original
Take a look at this short video showing you exactly what I’m doing….
http://www.screencast.com/t/2tgYHLMq6ng
Is there is a reason why nothing saves? Is there something I’ve missed?
It appears to be quite simple but I can’t figure this one out?
Also, non of the navigation bar is now showing? Any ideas as to why this is?

Sorry, I’ve got the navigation to work!
But the theme pages not saving I can’t figure out….

PS I should just add that I have disabled all plugins already in case there was a conflict but its not changed anything.
Thus there’s no conflicts.

Hi Kevin
Thanks for coming back to me.
Its the latest version – I only downloaded it a week ago or something.
I can download again and retry if you think that’ll help.
I’ve tried everything! I’ve changed themes, then reloaded the mixmag theme again.
You don’t think its anything to do with the existing page content do you?
I just literally tried something to see if may help. I added a new page (http://www.geitners.com/test/) and this actually does let me save those settings.
So maybe its something to do with the existing content on the pages? There’s nothing complex on the existing pages, its only words, but something’s clearly not quite right.
Although time consuming I could copy paste everything over to new pages.
That test page seems to have the widgets in the sidebar next to the slider but I’m sure that’s just some settings I’ve forgotten to change.
What’s your thoughts?

Hi Jonathan,
It just might be something with the pages already existing but this does seem a little strange as they should be working properly as soon as the theme is activated.
For both your issues, which both honestly are quite strange. I would like to first ask you try a fresh theme install.
– Download a fresh version of the theme from themeforest (you can re-download for free after purchases)
– Remove the currently installed version from your FTP
– Upload the freshly downloaded version.
The reason behind doing this is making sure the theme files are not corrupted. It can sometimes happen in down-or uploading that files get corrupted. This often results in strange behavior. Re-uploading a freshly downloaded version sometimes proves to be successful with situations like this.
If that does not work. I would like to ask your permission to check your website from the back-end admin panel. I’ve talked to one of our developers about your issue and he is also curious to see if it might be something going wrong with the settings and having back-end access to your website would greatly improve our possibilities to find out what’s happening.
If you wish, you can send me your wp-login details via e-mail to kevin(a)theme-dutch.com , Please do add a link to this topic so I’ll know what it’s about.
With kind regards,
Kevin
