Hi Bartosz,
Make use of following steps:
1. Go to Woocommerce / Settings / Catalog; then scroll down and you’ll find ‘image options’.
Here you’re able to adjust the sizes if you want to.2. Then install a Regenerate Thumbnails plugin and regenerate your thumbnails, to achieve the correct size for your images.
That’s all there’s to it.Good luck with our theme, and of course, thank you for purchasing Joop. If you like our theme, please vote!. We appreciate it very much!

Hey, I am having this same problem. Both my thumbnails and the background image for the product are blurred. I tried the steps you recommended and I still have the same problem. Any suggestions?

As you can see, we’re using one of the same images from the theme demo on your website, but it looks blurry. Plus, when you click on the product, the product image does not fill up the full width of the column.
Thanks in advance for your help! -

Hi Jason,
The size you appear to be using for the thumbnails to display at on the overview page is 269×269. You’ve selected the small thumbs (150×150) as your featured image. You’ll want to try selecting the full size image as your thumbnail instead (or another, larger, version)
Kind regards,
Kevin

Hello!
I’m having the similar problems with blurred full size product images. Here is webpage for your review:
http://delal.ca/product/bc0013When I click on the image, in the popup it shows fine.
I guess I need to modify the image size displayed in the product page to match the original image size but I can’t find where to do this. Please advise.

HI Edartinggraphic,

could you please verify your purchase with us by adding your envato purchase code to your theme-dutch.com profile, just so we can verify you as a paying customer.– Go to your downloads section on themeforest.com, click the download button next to the joop theme and select License certificate & Purchase code. Open the textfile and copy the purchase code.
– Go to theme-dutch.com and head to my-account -> my profile (top-right), then click edit profile, add your envato purchase code down in the verification information and save your profile. After that, post a reply here so we’ll know you’ve verified your account.
Thank you,

Hi Ed,
Thank you for verifying your purchase with us.
I’ve taken a look at your website and I believe your case is a tad different. The image you’ve uploaded is only 480x480px. When clicking for the pop-up, it shows in its actual resolution. In the preview image it shows up way larger. Now because the image is 480×480 in actual size of your image it is being scaled up causing this pixelated effect. The only good way to resolve this would be by using larger images

Thanks for the reply Kevin!
The image size you have in the template is way too large then and it doesn’t really make a lot of sense given the common screen sizes. As you can see more than half of the image is out of the screen and not visible.
How do I adjust this size to meet my image size?Regards,

Hi Ed,
The final size of the image is determined by the width of the image. The image is scaled until its width fits the content area. If your image is in portrait mode, that will make your image quite high. What’s recommended is a landscape type orientation

Hi Kevin,
I do realize that a portrait image might make this work but the product images I will be using on this site are not furniture! I need to be able resize the photos. Please advise.

Hi Ed,
I understand that you have different photo dimensions than our theme was designed to work best with. However, changing the dimensions of the display area requires changes to the theme’s code. Other than that, with this design a “full width” image is what we believed looked best.
Either way, what you could maybe try to do, is save the images with a wide white (or transparent) background making the image file wide / landscape but with the actual picture still portrait. This may not be ideal but it’s the only way to get the different size and orientation without having to alter the code.
I don’t know how well that would work with the thumbnails though.
Kind regards,
Kevin
