Hey Magali,
Welcome aboard 🙂
– How to remove SKU on the product page ?
Check your woocommerce settings, you can turn them off.– How to remove “Product Description” title in Description ?
This is controlled by the translation file mo/po, you will find the files inside the plugin woocommerce. Look it up and just remove it from the translation file, or better replace it with anything you like.
– Is it possible to change “Related Products” by “You may also like”
Yes sure, mo/po fileHere you will find the woo documentation: http://docs.woothemes.com/document/woocommerce-localization/

Dear Mike,
thank you everything works perfect !
It’s been 3 hours that i’m searching if I can define a background image for each category of products.
For each products i can add a featured image and gallery images.
When i’m on the page of a single product the background image is the featured image.
Is there a way to change this ? and define for each category a background image for each product of this category ?
Hope i’m clear enough 🙂
My website is almost done and I hope that this is the last time I’m bothering you.Magali

Hi Magali,
I think I understand what you mean, let me check first though:
You’re looking to add a certain image to a category that will automatically be the background image for all the products in this category. Instead of having to add background images to all of your products seperately.
Is that what you’re looking for?
If so, I’m afraid that’s not possible and I’ll explain why. The problem here is that products are not directly linked to one category only. They can belong to multiple categories. That means that if a similar system was to be set up, it would give problems when a product is indeed assigned to multiple categories.
Kind regards,
Kevin -

Hi Kevin, thank you for your answer.
I understand. But you seems to tell me that I can do it one by one ?
My problem is that the featured image is the thumbnail image of my product which is ok but it is also automatically
the background image of my product. Can I choose a different background image ?
Please see in attached file my image with annotations so you can see what i’m talking about 🙂Have a lovely week-end !

Thank you Magali for the clarification,
A way to add another background image to your product page than the so called product image is to add it in the “Joop options”.
First of all, when in the product editor, check whether you have the options enabled in your screen options (top right corner). Make sure the checkbox for joop options is checked.
Then scroll down to find the Joop options. (above the product data). you can there choose the page background type. Choose image, then add a background image and update your product. It should overwrite the current background on your product page. (see screenshot).
Kind regards,

I believe the screen shot Kevin has posted is found under PAGES not PRODUCTS. But maybe I’m missing something too!
I can’t see the JOOP OPTIONS either and would like to be able to change the background image independent of the featured image.Regards,

Just to be clear, I’m talking about changing a product background image under PRODUCTS.

Hi Ed and Magali,
I am looking at product as well. That’s where I tested it. (see new screenshot)
I just realized though that there is probably a version difference. The option to add this background has been added just about 2 weeks ago:
Version 1.3.2 – 24 February 2014 New Feature Added Background image for single product page
I think you’ll want to update your theme by downloading a new version, removing (or renaming) the currently installed version of the theme and then uploading this new version. The setting should then appear.
Kind regards,
Kevin -

Hi Kevin et. al,
Many thanks for your support!
Did the update as you indicated without a problem. Worked great! However, here is a message I get:
Your theme has bundled outdated copies of WooCommerce template files – if you encounter functionality issues on the frontend this could the reason. Ensure you update or remove them (in general we recommend only bundling the template files you actually need to customize). See the system report for full details. Please advise.
