Hello & greetings. I’m new here.
I’ve set up mikmag on a subdomain of my site (http://dev.newparadigmastrology.com/) and I’ve installed the xml dummy content and wp_options.sql file into the database, but the site isn’t displaying correctly. Feel free to look and see.
The mikmag manual says the following about this issue:
The steps above dont work when you install wordpress within a subdomain or subdirectory. Edit mikmag_wp_options.sql and change the image path and other related urls.Okay, I’m browsing through the wp_options.sql file, but I don’t see any single image path attribute to set change. There are lots of images with hardcoded urls, like on line 56:
http://theme-dutch.com/presents/mikmag3/wp-content/uploads/2014/05/14.jpgCan anyone assist me to clarify this sentence of the manual to have better detail? For example, what is the name of the wp option(s) to set or what line numbers to alter?
thank you for your help with this.
Kristopherps. attached is the wp_options.sql that came with my mikmag theme’s dummy folder.

Hi Kris,
wp_options.sql can be used to import the settings using phpmyadmin in your server. It will just give an error if you use it in WP uploads. Please aldo check if you use table prefix when you installed WP in that sub domain. If you have added a table prefix, you also need to edit wp_options.sql and change the table prefix

Hello Len,
Good day. Thank you for your kind reply.I have imported wp_options.sql through phpmyadmin multiple times. I am familiar with phpmyadmin and sql. I understand how to import sql files into tables in phpmyadmin & I did not use wp uploads.
I did not use a special table prefix for the subdomain. It is a regular brand new wordpress database installation. All tables begin with “wp_”
You can see by looking at the site (http://dev.newparadigmastrology.com) that it is pulling in the images of the theme, but the layout is not right.
Thank you again for your reply. At this time, I still do not know what must be done to configure the theme to use the demo content and layout correctly on the subdomain, and the manual is not very detailed in regards to this.
Can anyone make any recommendation to me to help me resolve this? Must I pay for technical support to get this addressed?
All the best,
KristopherAttached is a screen shot of the site, as it currently appears, which you can see is obviously incorrect.
