As the title says, is it possible to setup custom registered dynamic sidebars in MikMag Child Theme page’s layout?
I created my own widget areas and i want to assign those in Sidebar1.
Thanks in advance.
Hi dsovino,
you can drag and drop your widgets to Sidebar 1 (via appearance widgets)
You can create also your own sidebars (give them a special name) via the Mikmag-admin, and again, assign your widgets (incl. text, html, images etc,) to the sidebars you’ve created yourself. At the page, you select which sidebar it needs to show.
Roger. Any way to assign a css class to sidebars, or basically be able to declare more than just the title or name of it, as ex:
‘description’, ‘class’, ‘before_widget’, ‘after_widget’, ‘before_title’ or ‘after_title’?
Thats the whole point to register sidebars in theme’s functions.php…
Hi dsovino,
Nope sorry, thats not possible.
