That article says that I should remove a line in page.php but in your theme there is no such line in that file, here are the contents of it:
<?php /** * The template for displaying all pages. * * This is the template that displays all pages by default. * Please note that this is the WordPress construct of pages * and that other 'pages' on your WordPress site will use a * different template. * * @package Dondo */ ?> <?php tdf_display( tdf_get_theme(), 'wp', 'page' ) ?>Where should I remove it? I’m unable to find where to change this setting. The only settings I can find are for posts and not for pages.

This is a WordPress question. (we do not support WordPress questions)
Go to your dashboard and scroll down until you see: Settings
Hit: discussions
Here you can set comments on/of etc.On a post page.
Go to your dashboard
Then to the top right of your screen: hit screen tab: screen options
Hit tab: discussions
Scroll down on your post page: set comments on/offIf you’re happy about our support, don’t forget to rate our theme on the Marketplace 😉
