Home › Forums › UM Switcher › not creating reminder emails
I created a subscription.
There is now one row in the wp_um_switcher table
I then changed the expiration date to tomorrow
Reminder1 is set to go out 30 days before expiry, and reminder 2 is set to go out 0 days.
I renamed the php script for clarity. http://creates.studio/parkcityart-com/cron-um-switcher.php
I added a simple date/time echo so that I could see that it ran: Started umswitcher cron 2017-05-08 07:34:04 2017-05-09 00:00:002017-05-08 15:34:04+0 days and +8 hours and +25 MinutesEnded um-switcher cron 2017-05-08 15:34:04
I then ran the script from the browser.
It does not throw any errors
But it does not create an email
I would expect to get a reminder #1 email, because the expiry is < 30 days from now.
You might want me to run the script from cron instead of http://creates.studio/parkcityart-com/cron-um-switcher.php but honestly I can’t possibly see how that would make any difference
PS if you need access to the site, I sent credentials that you used to fix a bug last month.
Thanks for all your help
Hi hwythe,
Long time no see.
I just run a test on https://www.umswitcher.com and it send out the reminders, no problems here.
But maybe it’s the php version as I have a other client with the same issue your having.
Can you share your PHP version, were running on PHP 7
Mike
Hi Mike. You send this note at 4:04 AM Mountain. At 4;02 Mountain, a ‘renewal email’ showed up in my inbox. SO I’m thinking that you ran the script from the link that I gave, and it worked
Did you make any changes?
A few minutes ago I purchased the product again on the website, and it did update the wp_um_switcher.expire_time field.
Goodmorning hwythe,
I believe that I visit the link you send, but I did nothing…
But great that it works 🙂
