G’Day.
Has anyone come across an issue with the Shortcodes generating training characters ?
I am using some of the Shortcodes on a page and no matter which code I use, they appear to be generating strange training characters. Like it is trying to fill out te line.
See the attached screenshot.
I am using the Lists Shortcode in the top left which is inside a Column Shortcode and the Latest Post Shortcode which is inside another Column Shortcode
The fact that I have some shortcodes inside another shortcode doesn’t appear to be the issue as even if I just put the List or Latest Post shortcode on a page on it’s own these characters appear!
Mmmmm.
Any help would be appreciated.
Cheers,
Hi,
Could you perhaps clarify a bit what you exactly mean with ” training characters” ? I’m having some trouble getting a hold of it, even with the screenshot.
Thanks,
Kevin
Kevin,
G’Day and thanks for replying to my posting.
Actually what I am talking about is the line of ‘slashes’, as after the ‘You Have Goals’ or ‘Workout of the Day’.
Is there any way to have these not show up ?
I am assuming that they are part of the programming, but the client that I am setting the site up for doesn’t really want them.
Thanks in anticipation.
Cheers,
Michael.
Hi Michael,
I see what you mean by that. This is basically a part of the header css for that particular class. What you could do to get this out of the way is edit the CSS, in MikMag/Core/Shortcodes/shortcodes.css
div.shortcode-header, remove the background image part.
Be aware that this might affect the appearance of some more shortcodes that use this class, obviously.
