      I am one of the users who updated to WordPress version 3.5 without checking to see if the MikMag theme was compatible with it first.  The development team is working towards making this theme compatible with the 3.5 series, but as it stands right now MikMag version UPDATE 1 .3.2 is not compatible with WordPress 3.5. 

      Please do not update your WordPress installation until they have updated MikMag.  As I have found out, this will help reduce a lot of errors, and will obviously result in less frustration with things that were broken during the update process.

      This has been a learning experience for me, as in the past I have blindly updated without any regards to the theme’s compatibility.  Let’s be supportive of the MikMag team as they continue to pursue updates to their themes, and be patient.  They are aware and are working towards updating their themes to be compatible with the newest version of WordPress.

      I forgot upgrading to 1.3.2 and am still on older version. This one works very well with WP 3.5 🙂

      Thank you so much for your kind words. At the theme’s features page (new)clients can read on which version a theme is running. We are working on our update to WP 3.5. This is a very extended theme, though. Also Woocommerce, Buddypress and bb Press need to be tested as well, and since they also launch updates, this theme needs more testing then only WordPress.
      We set our hopes up in having more clients that can find the patience and understanding.
