Hi Ashanti,
Could I possibly get access to see the website? I’d like to take a look at it so I’ll be able to give you a better answer.
If it involves login details, you can send them to me via e-mail Kevin(a)theme-dutch.com

So now you don’t have the grey box going down to the footer? Or, does your background stay stationary while you scroll down?

On my new site I have that issue. On the old site it was fixed.

Did they say that it was possible to fix or is that just how it is?

Hi,
I believe I might have gotten a little lost here in this post. Could you perhaps clarify what the current issue seems to be? It appears some things have been fixed, some have not and some of the customizations you wish to also perform on a different site of yours. I’m a bit lost in which issues were resolved and which are still present.

The background is fixed…I want to know the code where the thumbnails were changed in my theme which i paid for them to be changed. I emailed someone else about it but it seems like i’m being ignored by them after I asked them about it. Everything else is fine.
I wanted to create a subdomain because a lot of content will be on the original site & i don’t want it to start running slow. So I wanted to know could you guys give me the theme with the changed thumbnails that i paid for. They gave me the run around…so I want to know the code so I can do it myself.

Hi Ashanti,
I’ll have to say that I wouldn’t know the exact code change myself.
What you could do however, is download the theme that’s on your current main website from your FTP. That theme version will include the codechange, copying that to your sub domain would have the change apply there as well, also any other changes in the theme will be transferred.
I believe that would be the easiest way to go for you

I want the developer contact me & simply tell me where it is in the theme. Thats all I would like. Even if i do download it by FTP I want to know where it is.

Hi Ashanti,
The main issue is that, for our customizations we don’t keep exact logs of what’s been edited. The reasons are that often things are being added or changed in a lot of different places, sometimes different things might need to be tried or done in order to get the correct result, leading to a large amount of total changes. Accurately keeping track of all can cost just as much time as actually performing the customization, meaning we would need more hours to carry them out.
Because of this, there’s no log of what’s been changed exactly and we don’t standardly offer those. That’s the reason I advised using the customized version of the theme.
