      For some reason I’m unable to edit a page properly using WPBakery page builder, without having html knowledge or using shortcodes. Is there any way a non-technical user can use this theme without needing to know html? See screenshot attached.

      Hello Nigel,

      Dondo WordPress theme is not built (and designed) with WPBakery page builder.
      (The theme is compatible with the page builder plugin though).
      Dondo is designed with shortcodes.
      If you install the demo of your liking, you’re able to change texts, images, etc. within these shortcodes

      Ok, so why is WPBakery page builder bundled/recommended with the theme package?

      Also, can you tell me where I can download “page builder”?

      Hi Nigel,

      Dondo is designed 3 years ago and without WPBakery page builder. On request of clients we made this wordpress theme compatible with WPBakery (so WPBakery works ok when used).
      We bundled it with the theme and we make sure it works well after updates of Dondo.

      You can activate WPBakery via Appearance / install plugins
