Dear support,
I’m running WordPress 3.8.1 and trying to configure a nivo slider ( using pictures of 1140×400 pixels ).
The problem is, none of checkbox option ( Autoplay / Pause on hover / Nextprevious buttons ) is being take into account after clicking the “save changes” button.I have the “options saved successfully” message but nothing new on slider. If I return on or refresh the nivo slider option page, the only checkbox checked is “Autoplay”.
Can you please help ?
Thanks in advance,
T2R

Hi T2R,
I think this is most likely to be caused by a version incompatibility.
Mikmag is not yet compatible with WP3.8.1 and I’m thinking that’s what may be causing this as it does work properly on our testing page and it does appear to work on the earlier versions. We’re currently working on an update to mikmag and I’ll make sure to pass this on to our development team so they can check this functionality before they release the new version.
Kind regards,

Hello Kevin,
Thank you for your reply. Can you provide me a release date as I don’t want to downgrade my WP.

Hi T2R,
I understand that, however right at this moment, I cannot give an accurate estimate towards when the update will be finished. There’s still quite some work to be done on the update and we’re working on some other projects as well. This combined with the fact that it’s always difficult to predict what compatibility issues may arise, makes it quite difficult for us to give close estimates.
I tend to refrain from doing so because I don’t want to be making any promises that we cannot keep.
From what I understand though, it’s probably not going to be within a week. Also, if you do plan on trying a wp-downgrade, I would suggest you to try an install solely for testing this functionality in a lower version before altering anything in your current work in progress website. It could still turn out that there’s something else going on.
Kind regards,
