hello,
we have 2 other issues on our website using joop theme.
on account page, when client clicks on “forgot your password”, he’s redirected to the “lost password” page
After entering his name or e-mail adress, and clicking on “Reset Password”, the client receives an e-mail “password reset instructions” with a link “Click here to reset your password”.
When clicking on this link, the client arrives on “My Account page”, instead of arriving on a page with the possibility to change his password…(see image 1)
can you please tell me why and how we can fix it ?
untill finding a solution fo fix this we had to disable all access to account pages… we only accept unregistred client, wich is not a good solution …and in the header section, there’s a link for the client to log-in. (see image 2)
when the password entered is wrong, the client is redirected to the wordpress admin log in page… and after 3 wrong passwords we can’t access to our admin page for 20 minutes… as if someone tried to access to the site administration… this is really a problem, clients should stay on the front website, and they are not allowed to have access to any section related to our administration page !how can we fix this ?
please get back to us asap, we really need to fix this, as said above we disabled the “accounts” everywhere on our website to prevent this…
thanks for your help,

Hi Magali,
These are two issues we haven’t heard about before but I’m indeed getting the same thing as you. I’ll send this through to our development team so they can look into this.
I’ll try to get back to you soon.
Kind regards,
Kevin -

Hi Magali,
Right now we are finalizing our update for the mikmag theme which is progressing really well, after that we have planned to work on the JOOP update. These issues should then be addressed in that next update.
Kind regards,

Hi Magali,
One of our developers has looked into this and it shouldn’t be anything that’s being caused by the theme. It should be something in the woocommerce settings that is causing this behaviour since that feature is solely altered / provided by woocommerce.
Kind regards,
Kevin
