  great you added the custom latest post shortcode to the theme – a great theme!
  there is a on top of the shortcode (see attachment).
  how can i remove it?

  hi puri,
  
  take the shortcode from “special shortcodes” choose “custom latest post” and you will get something like this: [blogposts title=”Latest Blog Posts” category=”all” number=”10″ words=”55″ orderby=”latest” image=”thumbnail”]
  now go to customize it: titel, categories slug, number of posts and words and image size: thumbnail, medium or large.

  Do you have parameters to stop tags/ category names / author name etc from showing up ?
  
  I am sorry that I am bugging you so much when you are having issues yourself, but the “M” shortcode screen comes blank for me and am a bit handicapped due to this 🙁

  just go to the theme admin > design > Mikmag > general > Miscellaneous and place the following code in your custom css field:
  div.td_postWidget_meta {display: none;}
