Hi, I’d like to start with saying what a fantastic theme. I am worried however after buying, for I am now coming across all the comments regarding various issues. Also, I am sympathetic to the staffing issues, but like others here, there could be a greater effort on providing support.
I am having a current problem with how to set up a registration page for bbpress, how to get it going, and if you look at the included screen shot, you can see it is not displayed correctly. http://thewebsitedesignguru.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/03/Screen-Shot-2013-03-31-at-1.14.51-PM.png
Also, featured images above blog posts appear blurry, not sharp. It was mentioned in a previous post this is a result of the responsiveness, but that doesn’t make sense since all my other images re size sharply. A temporary workaround was to remove featured images in css and just upload media to the top of each post. This shouldn’t have to be done like this though.
Please consider posting a message on the item page stating support may be slow etc. I am going to stick with it, and hope for the best, but compared to other themes we have used this one seems a bit ahead in functionality, but behind in support, documentation, and accuracy.

Hi Tim,
Judging by your screenshot I believe you are referring to the repeating Information icon at the top and/or the empty sidebar?
The empty sidebar can probably be solved by adding widgets to it in appearance -> widgets. The repeating information icon is something we have just bumped into on our own site aswell. One of our programmers will be on to fix that and I’ve asked him to also share the solution here in this topic.
As for the register part, I don’t believe the them should make too big of a difference setting that up. What’s the part you go stuck on there?
I’m having some trouble finding that older topic about the featured images. Could you give me a hand? I’d like to look into it a bit further.

Thank you for your reply.
1.The icons is the issue on the forum pages, but I see your forum here has the same issue.
2. Regarding registration page for the forum, how does one create one? I was assuming when the plugin was installed a registration page would be created etc.
3. Here is the link regarding blurry blog featured images. http://theme-dutch.comwordpress-support/topic/pixelated-featured-image-on-blog-post/
Thanks

Hi Tim,
1. The information icon issue is indeed new so you’ll get a response about that form our programmer.
2. The bbpress plugin does supply some registering methods, I’ve found one of them using a shortcode view a larger list of shortcodes here: http://codex.bbpress.org/shortcodes/ The account registration one is at the bottom of the page. I personally am not the most experienced with bbpress. I can try and help you out but I think that for bbpress questions you’ll get the best quality responses from their own documentation and forums.
3. Hmm, To check into this a little more, I’d like to take a look at a page with blurry featured images you’ve got on your website if that’s possible. I notice you’re on an under contruction plugin at the moment, which is perfectly understandable. Could you perhaps register an account for me to log into so I can go and take a peek? You can send the account details and a URL of the page for me to look at to my e-mail : kevin(a)theme-dutch.com

Thank you for your reply.
1. I’ll stand by for more information. It is easy in css to delete that icon, but I think it belongs there. Just once of course, not repeating.
2. Thanks for the hints, and I appreciate you trying to help. I’ll look into what you sent.
3. The same blurry image phenomenon can be found on your demo site. I did look though at your blog header images, they are all blurry, but you guys used a smaller image than the blog image area. It looks like blog image is 765×250 but you guys uploaded smaller images. In the case of Your site demo you used an image 420×200 I can understand it being blurry, because it has to expand the image to fit the larger area. That being said when I upload a larger image, it still appears blurry. I can use it anywhere else and it is tack sharp. For me this problem is not a problem any longer for I removed all featured blog images. This has allowed me to use them or not, and if so place a sharp one not blurry. Some blog posts I don’t want the image at top. So It is really at your discretion to take another look at it or not, This issue no longer affects me… But thanks for your reply.
