How are you? I purchased the
BOX, a Flexible, Responsive, Creative, Photography WP theme
In the demo, the grid links to pages, not posts
Links to pages NOT PostsOn my site, that is not the case .. Links to POSTS Not pages
I am looking to fix this, the issue being, the image on the grid link to pages
I want to know how to link the images on the grid to internal pages …
Thank you
Mike

Here we used TD-shortcodes: Image Boxes
[tds-boxed textcolor="#FFFFFF" bordercolor="#FFFFFF" borderopacity="2" shadowcolor="#2e3138" shadowopacity="80" link="https://theme-dutch.com/presents/box/services/" newwindow="false"]
You can change the link (url in the example) and link it to a post page.
link-“yourlink/” newwindow=”false”]

Dear Mike,
You mixed-up 2 things:
1. TD-shortcodes
2. Visual Composer (this theme is ready for visual composer, but we used TD-shortcodes for the design)If you want your website to look like the demo (and link the ”box images” to ‘post’ instead of ‘pages’) you’ll have to use TD-Shortcodes.
TD-shorcodes can be installed and can be used via the icon/menu bar on every page or post.[tds-boxed textcolor="#FFFFFF" bordercolor="#FFFFFF" borderopacity="40" shadowcolor="#000000" shadowopacity="80" link="#your-link" newwindow="false"]
[tds-image src="image-url"]
[tds-heading 1 align="center"]Image Box Title[/tds-heading]
Put your content here
[/tds-boxed]”#your-link” (here you fill in the actual link to your page or ”post” page.
We support the theme as presented in the demo.
We also created ‘Box dummy content’ that you can install to have an exact copy of the demo (and which is your starting point).
We offer installation services If you cannot install ‘Box dummy content’ yourself. Check our services.Kind regards,
Helen -

[tds-boxed textcolor="#FFFFFF" bordercolor="#FFFFFF" borderopacity="40" shadowcolor="#000000" shadowopacity="80" link="#your-link" newwindow="false"]
[tds-image src="image-url"]
[tds-heading 1 align="center"]Image Box Title[/tds-heading]
Put your content here
[/tds-boxed]Overlay:
shadowcolor=”#000000″ shadowopacity=”80″
choose your color
choose opacity (overlay) from 0 – 100 (%) -

Thanks, 2 things
1) Resize images > they are rendering huge, but in media library they are not that big
Example: http://www.the-dental-hygenius.com/Drolah/wp-content/uploads/2015/07/images-11.jpg
http://www.the-dental-hygenius.com/Drolah/2) is there a place where this is all written down? this is great! I dont want to bug you everytime I want to resize or get an adjustment inquiry

Hey Mike
Resizing images is not a theme feature but a WordPress Plugin feature, but I assume that you not have set the media settings. Maybe you can have a look at the wordpress.org website for all features of WordPress, there is also a complete manual for all WordPress related issues.
My shortcodes are rendering fine, but if you not have set the correct image sizes, or set the correct columns (shortcode) sure it will look bad.
Best Mike

The Demo Content did not render 100%, I uploaded most of content, but … since then I have worked on the site
Uploading the Demo content at this point? Would that override what I have done so far?
I really need to resolve this, the site looks horrible right now, I cannot get paid until I get some help here

Dear Mike,
The theme works ok.
If you install the demo content correctly you’ll have an exact copy of BOX
Read all about installing dummy content: BOX manualAfter installing dummy content you will need to assign menus to the main and footer areas.
Dashboard Settings / reading
Sidebar widget you’ll have to create yourself. However, some servers have issues (max. upload size) with the demo content.
We cannot be held responsible for that, since there are all kinds of hosting, bad (often very cheap) to good. How to increase your max upload size: https://wordpress.org/support/topic/how-to-increase-the-max-upload-size
We created dummy content for buyers with less knowledge of html or buyers that just want an exact copy of BOX for their website.
If clients are not able to install dummy content theirselves, they also can hire us to do so.
We understand that you’re building a client website and want to get paid.
However, we are not responsible for your knowlegde and/or server upload capacity -

If you would like use the 1140 grid, like the home demo
please use a section shortcode[tds-section background="#000000" textcolor="#FFFFFF" opacity="80"]content here[/tds-section]
your home page / about page:
[tds-section background="#fff" textcolor="#000" opacity="100"]
place your 3 text columms within this section, and your text will not show full width
[/tds-section]
