Hi,
I’m experiencing this issue with regular browsers: Google Chrome, Firefox & Safari and both Mac OS “Mountain Lion” and Windows 7, not being able to get access to submenus; they just disappear before you can make click on them.
Any suggestion?
Thanks
23/08/2013 at 8:35 AM #12592Hi Javier,
I’m afraid the image you tried to upload exceeds the upload limit.
Could you however share with me a link to your website, so I can see what’s happening exactly?
Also your WP version and theme version could be valuable information on this one.
With kind regards,
Kevin
23/08/2013 at 3:31 PM #12597Hi Kevin,
I’m sending the link to my website. As you can see, there is only one submenu (under “CONTACTO”) but it is impossible to click on it. This issues has stopped me adding more content and it is frustrating. If you think I may have to add or change something feel free to ask me because I would like to solve it asap

Right now WordPress 3.4.2 (spanish) is being used and theme version is 1.1.0;
Thank you very much,
Javier R.
26/08/2013 at 11:25 AM #12603Hi Javier,
I see what’s happening and find it rather strange. I haven’t seen that happen before…
Have you by any chance got any plugins installed?
Kevin
26/08/2013 at 1:12 PM #12606Hi Kevin,
Yes I have already 3 plugins installed:
Askimet
Hello Dolly
WP Complete Backupbut the last one is the only that is active.

27/08/2013 at 10:20 AM #12610Hi Javier,
To make sure it’s not a plugin interference, what you could do is turn off the wp backup plugin for a bit and check whether the menu is still acting strangely when the plugin is turned off.
If that is the case. I would suggest to try re-installing the theme. It can sometimes happen that in down/uploading, files get corrupted, causing strange bugs. Re-installing the theme would often fix that.
Just download a fresh version of the theme from themeforest. Remove the currently installed version from your FTP (Or just rename it, for backup purposes) and then install the freshly downloaded theme.

28/08/2013 at 7:41 AM #12618Hi there,
Same issue is happening after disable all plugins and make a fresh installation of the theme

But I have discovered something: it seems that it is only happening when submenu is added to the very last menu option.
28/08/2013 at 9:18 AM #12623Hi Javier,
That’s interesting…
I can confirm a similar thing is happening to my test page (only it fades away more slowly for some reason).
Now normally I would submit a bug report of this to our development team, however for zagetti at this moment I can tell you we’re working on a huge update, making it WP3.6 compatible, adding and altering some features. One of the changes is a complete new menu which I have just gone and tested to find it works properly.
The new update will feature a new, working menu. It will look a little different than the current one though.

30/08/2013 at 7:15 PM #12649So in the mean time is there a small work-around. Also, when is this update going to be released, and will it break anything in the existing themes on the site that I have working at present?
31/08/2013 at 9:26 AM #12652Hi Daniel,
You could create a custom menu item, have it link nowhere and as it’s title just enter a space. That way there will be an inivisible extra last menu item. Only thing that will be seen is the menu item divider dash “-“.
Other than that, the update is planned to be released very soon. It will be a large update so some things might have changed (for which reason I suggest you keep a backup of how it is now before updating).
