Problem with MikMag in Explorer
I just discouvered that the site that I have buildt with the MikMag theme doesn´t work in Explorer, and it´s supposed to go live tomorrow, so I am in a jam.
The site loads ok, and shows up in IE for a few seconds, then it just disappears and all you see are the theme background image.
See for yourselves

I first thought it was the layer slider, but it´s the same with or without it. Any suggestions? Am I the only one who have had this problem?

Hello Joakim,
Do you run Mikmag on WP 3.5, because we’re updating all our themes, and Mikmag will be updated to 3.5 on short notice.

Yes, I am using WP 3.5. Does that mean that you are aware of the problem?

I need to know if the problem lies on your end or mine, or is it because ow WP 3.5? Your site works in Explorer 10 an you are using MikMag as well right?
I am panicking a bit here….

Anyone?
What am I supposed to do? Just accept that the theme doesn´t work in WP 3.5 and be happy?
What does short notice mean? I have a website that is supposed to be launched tomorrow, and at least a third of all surfers won´t be able to see it. I ain’t exactly jumping for joy right now.
Come on people, a little help here….??

I have now tried to switch themes. Site worked in Explorer.
I then disabled all plug-ins in the MikMag theme. Site still did not work in Explorer.
I guess the conclusion is that the Theme simply does not work in WP 3.5 and Explorer, and there is absolutely nothing I can do about it. I guess I shouldn’t be so quick to upgrade the WP next time. I really hope that update comes soon, because this makes me look really bad.

Well Joakim if it makes you feel better, it does the same thing with WP 3.4 and has nothing to do with the new WP update. IE7 displays a horrific rendering of the site, and IE8 just flashes for a sec and goes to a blank page only showing the background. I was just dealing with the same issue and came to see if TD had a solution when I found your post. Apparently not…

Hi guys,
Mikmag 1.3.2 still runs on WP 3.4.2 and is supporting IE8/IE9 (It never supported IE7 and does not support IE10 yet). We are going to update Mikmag to WP 3.5 asap and check IE versions before we upload to TF.
Thanks,
Helen
