G’Day.
I’d thought that I’d put my 2-cents worth in about the documentation for the Mikmag theme.
First up, I think that the documentation that is available is good but certainly can be improved to make it much easier for developers to fully utilise the theme. With some options effecting more than one area of a website, I would like to see screenshots of the front-end that is effected by these options.
I appreciate that there are screenshots of the back-end in the documentation, which is great, but sometimes, as the saying goes, ‘pictures are better than a thousand words’! So to show what areas are effected by changes to options in the back-end would be much appreciated.
I am also currently working with another theme for a client and have found that theme’s documentation to be excellent. I’m not going to mention it here on this forum, as that probably isn’t ethical, but if you want to PM me I’ll give you the details.
Cheers,
Michael.

Michael, I agree. Good documentation is key… The fact that shortcodes aren’t succinctly listed anywhere, and the shortcode link above the text editor isn’t exactly obvious, was itself a frustration… And so easy to remedy.

Hello everyone,
Thanks for your submissions. We take it serious and are making preparations for an improved manual incl. screenshots of the front-end.
Hope you all will be pleased by this. It will take some days before its available, though. Thanks a lot in advance,

Hi there
I’ve just bought and installed MikMag and I’m really impressed about the well structured and slim code.
Unfortunately the Layer Slider is not working as expected. I don’t get html slides or layer running, as shown in your example. Pictures work fine, but HTML and CSS will not show up.I thought some kind of div boxes with inline style should appear, but no success.
Regards
Dino

Would the quickest way to show everyone the options available for shortcodes be to put examples on the demo theme for each code and all of the configurations?
