OK, I have found more broken features in the admin panel. You can see these for yourself at http://www.layogascene.com/
These are in addition to the other bugs noted in a previous post.
1. Changing the Header colors does nothing. I have every H1-H6 and anything that says Header set to orange. It still defaults to black on both the content and main menu.
2. The menu does not appear on the home page. It only appears on the subpages. Nothing in your controls effects this.
3. I want my header background to be a certain color and the background of the social icons a different color. Feature does not exist.
4. I had uploaded my own background but now I don’t like it. I have deleted it in your admin panel but it still appears and I can’t get rid of it.
5. The layout randomly stretches post images to various heights with no rhyme or reason.
6. On the pages where the header does actually show up, the CSS layers are screwy and the search bar floats partially into the plane of the header.
It’s too bad because I really like this theme but clearly there are many bugs and CSS issues. If you can figure out why it’s so screwy on my site and provide a fast path to fix it, I would prefer that. Otherwise, I need a refund as I need to find a theme and fast to get my site up and running.

Hi DK,
Our developers are currently working on an update for the Mikmag theme to fix bugs that have been brought up on the forums (a lot of which involve buddypress). You can expect an update in not too much time.
1) I’ve checked this in the update that’s being made and it has been fixed there. You should be able to change those with our next update.
2) I see you are using a different theme on your website at the moment so I can’t see it happening. However, we don’t appear to have this on our mikmag websites nor do I recall hearing this before… What version of wordpress are you using? And have you got any plugins installed?
3) I’m afraid that’s indeed not a theme function for mikmag, it is not a bug. The only way to achieve that would be by customizing your theme to allow for seperate choice of color on the sociables.
4) That’s fairly strange. I don’t appear to have that issue (nor on the older theme versions) This could be in your browser’s cache. Have you tried repeatedly refreshing your page. clearing your cache or checking on a different browser/device?
5) I’m not exactly sure what you mean with this one. Could you perhaps add a screenshot or a URL to a page I could check to see it?
6) For this one, I think I would also need a screenshot or URL to know what’s going on.
Some of the things you bring up are fairly odd indeed and are things I haven’t heard before. I suspect there could possibly be one little issue around that causes all the strange things. Maybe a plugin you’ve got installed is conflicting with our theme. To check that, you could turn off all your plugins, see what happens and if it fixed anything (like the menu not showing) turn them all back on one by one to isolate the faulty plugin.
If this doesn’t work, it could also be the case that some of your theme files got corrupted in the down/uploading process. To check or fix this if it’s the case. you can download a fresh version of the theme from themeforest, remove the current version you installed from your server and upload this freshly downloaded version.
With kind regards,
Kevin
