Need to speed this theme up.

  On your site this theme is super slow and on my own site and server this theme is super slow. We need to get this theme to load and respond quicker. I can’t even scroll down without it lagging and hanging up. This is insane.

  and please nobody suggest a caching plugin, as those only help speed things up AFTER someone has already been to a particular page before.

  You can try cloudflare. It works very well for speeding things up.

  We have installed a new plugin yesterday and that one was giving the speed trouble. We have fixd the plugin, so your speed issue is not a theme related problem…

  Hmmm….well @Mike any thoughts as to what it could be? I have it on my demo server right now and it’s pretty slow. All i’ve done is change the color selections, select sidebars & layouts, add a couple of posts and add a background. I’ve installed no plugins – in fact, I haven’t even installed the buddypress or woocommerce plugins yet. I’m stumped.
