This is taken from your manual:
”
17 I Translation Ready
We thought about the smallest details and because we understand our theme will be sold worldwide. You can easily create the translation with the pot file. Just follow the following steps:
1) Download Poedit from http://www.poedit.net/
2) Install poedit on your computer
3) Open poedit
4) Choose file > new catalogue from POT-file
5) Search your theme folder of MIKMAG > go to languages > MIKMAG.pot
6) Press ok
7) Poedit will ask you where to save the .po and .mo files. Choose the samefolder. Call the files your language zone (example: nl-NL for the
Netherlands)
8) Translate all the options (not all needed)
9) Upload the .mo and .po file to the languages folder on your website.10) Change you wp-config-file with your language-code ”
But there’s no pot file in my package, I think it’s a mistake.
I need to translate my theme into italian and it’ really difficult to change every label one by one.
Thanks

Hi Massiomo,
If you have downloaded Mikmag from Themeforest.net you will have dummy content, can you send your purchase code?

Hi Andy, when you go to your themeforest account and visit your download section, you can download the theme files and the dummy in a separate file.

Hello Mike,
I have the dummy content but my doubt is if the POT file is inside the dummy content? Coz I have my site almost done and I don’t want to put all the pages and settings of the example back into the theme… I just want to have the POT file to translate to portuguese! The only way to get the POT is if I import the content? In the zip file (of the theme) the folder “languages” don’t have the file POT… (I did a new download now and it’s empty too)…
Sorry bothering you, but I know almost nothing about programming! 🙂
Thanx!

Hi Andy,
Inside languages you will find a file: mikmag.po thats the file to translate. As it looks like that there is a problem with your download section over at Themeforest maybe you could send me your purchase code and I will have a look for you.

Hi Andy,
Allow me to add to Mike’s post. If you do wish to send the purchase code, I could imagine you’d like to do it elsewhere than on an open forum like this one. Feel free to send it to me via e-mail kevin(a)theme-dutch.com so I can check with mike to see what’s up with the download.
Please do add a link to this forum topic in your e-mail so I’ll know what it’s about.
