Hello, I have a slider setup at http://174.36.179.67/~omnipure/ with two images, they show and I can click through them, but they will not auto rotate. I have the latest WP version and mikmag, i tried to disable all plugins and that didn’t work. Any ideas?
My slider settings are –
w 100%
h 398
slide delay 1000
transistion effect random
tran speed 1000
pause check
next/prev checkI’ve tried to mix up times and settings with no luck. Thanks for help!

G’Day.
You can add me to this issue as well.
I am using Mikmag ver 1.3.2 (the latest available via Themeforest) with WordPress ver 3.4.2 (as it is not compatiable with WP v3.5) and the Nivo Slider that I have set up won’t rotate. Like Aaron (above) I can get it to move if one clicks on the next/previous tabs when displayed, but I don’t want that. I want it to auto rotate.
So, when will the new version of Mikmag be available that will be compatiable with WordPress v3.5 ?
Thanks.

G’Day again …..
Okay Aaron and Massimo, I have the solution to get the Nivo Slider to rotate:
Access the theme files via your cPanel backend/ftp.
Using the File Manager go to the wp-content/themes/mikmag/includes sub-directory
Find the slider-nivo.php file and use the Edit function to access it.
Navigate to line 167
Change the line manualAdvance:true to manualAdvance;false
Save the changes.
Done !So, hope that this helps. Now all we need is the update of the theme to work nicely with WordPress ver 3.5
Cheers,

Gabriele.
G’Day.
Unfortunately the Mikmag theme isn’t yet compatiable with WordPress ver 3.5.1 and it has been recommened by the Theme-Dutch Support staff to use WP ver 3.4 for the moment.
I did post in this thread, above, a workaround to get the Nivo Slider to auto-rotate, but I haven’t tested that modification with WP ver 3.5

Another temporary solution is to use the recent posts slider. That one works and it’s what I am doing until the MikMag theme is updated.

@Massimo Basso + Windycityfella
There are so many bugs using MikMag with WP3.5 at the moment. It looks like I’m finding more and more every day. I am not that confident with the code, so I really don’t want to change it on my owm. (actually that was the reason for me to buy a complete theme with all the features, I were looking for) Downgrading WP is a big thing, too. I hope there will be an update very soon… Thx a lot for ur replies!!!
