Hello,
After working with the UM-Switcher plugin for a few months now, I’ve discovered that there is a difference in the start and expiration times between what is listed in the Subscription List in the backend of the site and what is showing up in the database. It appears to be a 5 hour difference, and I cannot understand why that is, if it is done that way on purpose, or if this is a bug inside of UM-Switcher.
I noticed this because I was trying to manually add a member to the site straight through the database rather than going through the registration and payment process. I added a member into the users table first, which populated the ID for the new member. Then I went into the um_switcher table inside of the database and added a new record. I entered a date/time stamp of 2017-05-18 22:44:58 into the current_time field. However, when I was done entering the rest of the information for the member and went into the backend of the site and looked at the new entry in the Subscription List, the date/time stamp showed up as 2017-05-18 17:44:58. Is there a reason why the date/time stamp I entered for the current_time was not the actual Subscription Start Date?
Please advise if there is something different that I need to do if trying to manually enter a new member through the database.
Thanks so much for your time in reading this message and getting back to me with a response.

That can be caused by a difference in server time and website site.

Thanks for the reply Mike. Your customer service with my issues has always been top-notch.
Is it safe to assume that UM-Switcher and Ultimate Member will work just as fine for members who have been added into the database manually as the members who are added because they have gone through the registration and checkout process? Is there anything that I need to beware of when adding a member manually? Or certain fields in certain tables that MUST be filled out in order to make sure that there are no issues?
Thanks again,
— Dan
