Hi Everybody,
Just a notification that we will release a update for JOOP next week, we now a few of you are waiting for this. And believe me please when I say, that I hate it too that sometimes an update takes forever. But please understand that we have to deal with a lot, updates made by wordpress, woocomerce, FF, Safari, IE, Ipad, Iphone, android etc are all time consuming.
and a bit is my fault
begin of the week JOOP 1.4 was ready for release all bugs you and our beta testers found where fixd. But I was not totally happy with the menu on mobiles. Especially when you have a big menu with a lot of items, it was not user friendly enough in my opion. So I looked at our developer, my big friend Lenur and asked him to create a new mobile menu that is more clear and more user friendly. I’m sure that you will like the new menu and it will be ready in the next few days.
Thanks for your patience,
Mike13/06/2014 at 4:18 PM #64375Mike,
G’Day.
Great stuff and I know how hard you and the developers work to make these themes really impressive.
I’ll keep an eye on my downloads folder for when it arrives.
Cheers and have a great weekend.
Michael.

Please check your account for JOOP 1.4Best Mike
18/06/2014 at 8:09 AM #64392I received an email from ThemeForest and duly downloaded JOOP 1.4, but the installation failed on WordPress because it said that JOOP is already installed. I tried renaming JOOP to JOOPBAK in /wp-content/themes/ and uploading the JOOP.zip again. The installation failed again. What should I do?
18/06/2014 at 10:26 AM #64393Hi Mbes,
What I’d suggest you to do is log onto your FTP and head to /wp-content/themes/
In there, download the files of the previous JOOP version you had installed and keep them somewhere on your computer as a backup.
Next, remove the JOOP folders that are in /wp-dontent/themes/ (so those you had installed previously and those you’ve tried installing just yesterday).
Unzip your freshly downloaded theme version (the latest update).
Upload the folder called “joop” to /wp-content/themes/You should now have the theme update working.
You can also rename the old theme and leave it on the server to keep a backup, but since you were having some issues removing them all should surely work.
Kind regards,
