Forgive me, I’m a WordPress virgin coming from Drupal development.
My current Drupal 7 site is http://www.kingdomcomputer.info I am looking to build a new version using WordPress, and have started building at http://www.kingdomcomputer.info/kcs_wordpress
Not much to look at at the moment…. I only have two menu entries, a blank page titled Services, and a subpage underneath for remote management.
I am testing in different browsers as I go to try to spot inconsistencies. The first thing I am noticing is that the menu does not appear on mobile. I tried using various android browsers as well as iPhone.
What am I missing? Why is the menu not present?
Thanks,
-myk

I see what you mean and I notice this is also happening on our demo site. (you can easily check by resizing the browser horizontally). Now what was meant to happen (and what used to happen) is that on smaller screens such as mobile devices, the menu would change into a dropdown selection style menu so all the items would still be available on this smaller screen.
I think this might be a bug caused by one of our latest theme updates as I do have a (very much customized) version of the theme somewhere in which the menu functions properly.
I’ll be passing this on to our development team for them to check out and fix in a theme update.

01/08/2013 at 10:07 PM #12412Thank you. Do you ave a rough ETA on correction? Also, should I expect to receive an email update once it’s ready? No real rush, since I’m still just learning WordPress, but I would like to get it working relatively soon.
thanks again,

02/08/2013 at 9:31 PM #12424Hi Myk,
It’s currently pretty difficult for me to give an ETA on updates. Let me explain why:
We’ve got a fairly small development team, who are currently working hard on maintaining our different themes. At this moment they are working on some of our existing themes, one by one, giving them a complete overhaul and quite extensive update. As you can understand, this takes time to complete properly.
Next to keeping our top themes fresh and updated, we also continuously work on creating new themes, since in the end that’s what keeps the motor running. Inbetween those large updates and new themes we try to squeeze in fixing bugs found by our customers. However in our developers’ busy schedule this isn’t always very easy.
Because of this, I cannot give any close estimate at this point. I do believe however, that a functioning menu is something pretty important so I’m trying to see what I can do to speed up the process of getting this update through.
If I am not mistaken, theme updates are notified of via a newsletter sent to the themeforest and/or mojo-themes customers, as well as via our twitter and facebook.

08/01/2014 at 9:42 PM #13600Hi Kevin,
I have noticed the nav bar is still not showing up on mobile devices. This makes it impossible for users to navigate my clients website via mobile and is essentially making this theme not fully responsive as advertised. How do I fix this?
Thank you in advance for your help!

This is something we’re working on for our next update. I believe it shouldn’t be all too long before that’s released. But I can’t make any promises on when it will be, as with updating themes you never know what kind of compatibility issues etc you might bump into.
Kind regards,
Kevin
