    Hi, Kevin.

    I am currently using the Freeze theme and am not able to get the post thumbnails to show up on my blog category page. The posts are displayed with their titles and the page icon in the upper right corner…but no thumbnail image for the posts.

    A bit of history:
    I had the same issue when I was using the Screen theme, but the developer eventually had to log in and tweak the code (Ticket:003357). The Screen theme worked fine once the code was modified, however, when I switched to Freeze, it broke again. :)

    Any ideas how I can fix this one?

    Hi, Kevin.

    I see that the Ticket System has become premium since my last issue with the post thumbnails in the Screen theme. Any chance of taking this to email? I would prefer not to post links via the forum if possible. :)

    I see which images you mean. Have you added the thumbnails you’d like to show up on your category to be featured image of the respective posts?

    Hi, Kevin.

    Perhaps I’ve misunderstood how this works. :)

    I would like it to eventually look like the posts exemplified here:

    http://theme-dutch.com/presents/freeze/category/blog-sidebar-right/

    With Screen, it would simply make a thumbnail version of the first image in the blog post, and then have that thumbnail and a short excerpt of the post’s text. Is Freeze handling this a different way?

    Any direction would be appreciated!

    Ugh…Severe Facepalm!

    After poking around a bit more, I learned all about “Featured Image.” As would be expected, when it’s done properly… it works. :)

    Hi John,

    Yeah I noticed there is a slight difference between how we used to handle these images in our older themes (screen) and how we now do it (freeze, mikmag, etc). Good to hear that was the issue though. Nothing too major.

    Good luck with setting up the rest of your website!
