Good day to all beta testers!
Looks like I’ve found myself a nice bit of work here, monitoring the MikMag 2.0 beta forum but I must say, I’m enjoying doing so!
I’d like to thank you all for the help in testing the theme so far and for the time you’ve already invested, it’s really very much appreciated.
I’m happy to see you’re all enjoying the updated version of the theme so far and I’ll be sure to pass on those positive comments to the people involved in developing this update. I hope we’ll be able to iron out as many bugs as we can.
Thank you!
Kevin

It is a pleasure to work with fresh, innovative and creative developers producing impressive work.
Compliments to my esteemed beta colleagues seeking understanding and betterment for themselves and a worthy project.
It is a delight to be with such talent as I can learn from everyone. Web development is all about problem solving. It’s good to have problems and bugs, that means you are doing something unique and not playing it safe with the same old – same old. Anything worth while has its challenges.

Keep on imagining and be awesome…

G’Day.
You’re welcome and thanks for the kind remarks. It’s great to be working with such a feature-rick theme.
And on the ever present question: Is there a timeline when the theme will be released to the general public.
Cheers,
Michael.

I’d think that will be when we’ve managed to work though the bugs found here and get those all out as good as we can. I must say at this point I haven’t got a very good view on what the status is I’ll see if I can get some more information about that sometime soon.

14/05/2013 at 6:38 PM #11659Hi Kevin
It sounds as if you are asking if we consider MikMag 2 ready for prime time.
The answer is yes from my perspective.
With current ‘speed bumps’ resolved you should be good to go. Any other anomalies appearing can be resolved with updates.
The pageloader will haunt the team until the background color can be changed as it is not compatible with transparent alpha channel png images.
The team is doing an excellent job and we look forward to receiving the final pre-release.
Onwards and upwards.
James
