Basically say I open my site dailyspeedfeed in a browser, then want to make the browser smaller while i work on something else, most websites wont shrink and move things around like mine does. I want it to stay the fixed width/size, and id rather see the tool bars appear in the browser to scroll around the page. Know what I mean?

    Hi Sean,

I can probably help here… MikMag is what’s called a “responsive” theme. It’s designed to adjust the layout based on screen size (and therefore browser window size). The idea behind responsive designs is that they optimize the layout for computers, tablets and phones, depending on which device you use to visit the site. It’s supposed to be a good thing.

I’d be interested as well to know if there’s a way to “turn off” the responsive feature on MikMag, as I’m having some issues, but if you want a fixed layout then it’s best not to go with a responsive theme.
