Hi there.

I have installed and re-installed the Bob theme 3 times on my Wordpress site, but keep getting the same errors. I have looked through the manual that came with the purchase as well as in this forum but don't see any information about my question, so here goes.

I'm using PHP5 and WP 3.2.1. I can activate the theme and even make some changes, but I have these errors in the top frame as well as other errors within the main window frame, depending on what I click. I'm using Chrome as the browser.

Here are the errors in the top frame:
Warning: session_start() [<a href="http://candyrice.com/consulting/function.session-start" style="background-image: initial; background-attachment: initial; background-origin: initial; background-clip: initial; background-color: transparent; border-top-width: 0px; border-right-width: 0px; border-bottom-width: 0px; border-left-width: 0px; border-style: initial; border-color: initial; margin-top: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; padding-top: 0px; padding-right: 0px; padding-bottom: 0px; padding-left: 0px; vertical-align: baseline; text-decoration: none; font-family: Calibri, calibri; font-size: 9px; background-position: initial initial; background-repeat: initial initial; ">function.session-start</a>]: open(/var/chroot/home/content/30/5011430/tmp/sess_cg6h2e0t9oihp4g79jhvghkp63, O_RDWR) failed: No such file or directory (2) in <b style="background-image: initial; background-attachment: initial; background-origin: initial; background-clip: initial; background-color: transparent; border-top-width: 0px; border-right-width: 0px; border-bottom-width: 0px; border-left-width: 0px; border-style: initial; border-color: initial; margin-top: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; padding-top: 0px; padding-right: 0px; padding-bottom: 0px; padding-left: 0px; vertical-align: baseline; background-position: initial initial; background-repeat: initial initial; ">/home/content/30/5011430/html/consulting/wp-content/themes/Bob/header.php on line <b style="background-image: initial; background-attachment: initial; background-origin: initial; background-clip: initial; background-color: transparent; border-top-width: 0px; border-right-width: 0px; border-bottom-width: 0px; border-left-width: 0px; border-style: initial; border-color: initial; margin-top: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; padding-top: 0px; padding-right: 0px; padding-bottom: 0px; padding-left: 0px; vertical-align: baseline; background-position: initial initial; background-repeat: initial initial; ">1

Whoa...not sure where all the extra code came from. Trying again...home page errors showing up in a frame above the website.

Hello,

first of all, don't worry about the extra code here on the forum. this is due to a temporary thing to prevent spammers' links from working. Our programmer is working on a more permanent solution.

now, on to your problem.

It seems that not all files from the theme are accessible. This can have multiple causes, a few things you could look at are:

- Make sure all the files from the theme have been correctly uploaded to your server. If you are unsure, I would suggest you to re-upload the theme and keep an eye on the upload to see everything uploads correctly.

- Server permission rights, make sure to set your permission rights on the server so that stuff is accessible.

I hope this helps you find the solution.

With kind regards,

Thanks for your response, Kevin.

I re-uploaded the files 1 by 1 (for the 4th time), and made sure every file uploaded correctly. I also set the permissions to 777 on the Bob folder, but still am having the same errors mentioned above.

Here is the URL: http://www.candyriceconsulting.com.

Is it possible my download was missing some files? I really need to get this theme installed so I can progress through to building the site!

Thanks!

Hey Kevin. Just had a thought: could the errors be due to the WP site and theme not being installed at the root path? In other words, the site is hosted with other domains on the same hosting account, and the files exist in a folder on the primary domain (which is not candyriceconsulting.com). Thoughts?

Hi,

I do not believe that should cause any problems. I'll have a look at it with our programmer later, I'll get back to you after that.

Hi have you put Wp-debug mode on?

This is set in the wp-config.php file no theme related..
