  Hi, I’m sorry but can’t find instructions for updating UM-Switcher. I downloaded the update ZIP file from Code Canyon, but WordPress “Add New Plugin” doesn’t accept that. I unzipped it with the idea of using ftp to upload the files, but don’t know whether one or more of the files are supposed to run the update or if I should manually overwrite each of the existing files in wp-content/plugins/um-switcher with the same-named file from the new directory. Can you please point me to some instructions or provide an explanation?

  You can just simply replace whole plugin with new one if you can not update plugin from wordpress admin side.
