Hi, I cannot install the demo content. Infact not even one page or setting even not without the attachments

I did a fresh clean install, followed the manual, installed everything as an administrator (not the admin (1)) and even did the myphp migration already. Yet always: Invalid Post type

    How can this be solved?

    Thanks so much

    Hi Marcin,

When importing dummy content you would still require to activate the dummy content’s imported menu and the homepage. Perhaps this might be a step still left to do. Do you see any new pages around at all since you’ve done the dummy content import?

Also, if there are any specific parts or pages on our zozo demo website (http://www.theme-dutch.com/presents/zozo) that you are interested in recreating but are having difficulties doing so, feel free to point me toward them and I’ll go have a look back-end to see how we’ve done it.

    Hi Andy,

Could you perhaps explain in a bit more detail what seems to go wrong when you import the dummy content?

Loading the dummy content should be properly possible with the current theme version. The thing that’s not yet featured (and will be added in the next theme update, that has not yet occured) is an export of the slider that’s on our demo site’s homepage.

    With kind regards,

    Kevin

Having decided to purchase Aziza I have started playing with it to hopefully update my own website with this theme. However, after creating a couple of pages (locally) - landing page and 1 follow through I tried looking at it on my iPhone to check it out. It will not display ANY sliders at all. They all dissappear. The rest of the page displays fine but not any of the header sliders. All the animated columns and animated images appear as expected, menus and columns all change to the small screen format, but the sliders will not display at all. That’s the Slideshow Slider, Category Slider, Aziza Slider and LayerSlider, none of them display at all on the phone.
So I decided to look at the demo site on my phone and it simply causes Safari to crash. I cannot display any of the live demo content (demo dot theme-dutch dot com etc.). My iPhone crashes without displaying anything. This is a little disturbing as one of the key reasons for buying was the responsive factor. If I cannot see anything then the theme is sadly of no use to me.

The device is a 16Gb iPhone 4sif that helps

    Thanks for any advice.

    Hello, I just bought your theme nice work;
    By cons not load:
    Aziza-dummy-content.xml following error message:
Fatal error: Out of memory (Allocated 51904512) (tried to allocate 10400 bytes) in / homepages/28/d355461874/htdocs/A/demo/wp-includes/media.php on line 1227
I increase the upload size to 1GB via php.ini and Still can not load file.
Caitaines page is loaded, but not the images (this is not serious for the picture) but against the blog page of the possible demo assets.

Thank you in advance for your response

    Hi Jakob,

That does look like Zozo. What you need to do now is add a menu (appearance -> menus), customzite the way your theme looks appearance -> zozo and add content to your website.

I think your current install was properly executed.

Do note that our demo page only shows what’s possible with the theme. You are not tied to the exact same setup. You can recreate it using all the theme’s functions but you can choose to use everything differently if you like. The manual included in the theme downloadfiles will help you do that.

What you now see is a blog-type thing because your homepage has been selected to show latest posts and no other changes have been made.

    Hi Waqas,

Our themes are purposely made highly customizable, which means you can basically form them to be anything you want them to be. This also means that you can choose what type of things you wish to show on your homepage, what you’d wish to choose as your background, what menus to use etc.

The theme you download and install uses the same styling as the one we use for our demo page. You can then change the theme options in apppearance->zozo, and add your own content to create the site that best suits your purpose.

Now we do provide our customers with a way to set up dummy content, which will provide guidelines or examples as to how our themes can be used. Your mojo-themes dowload will contain instructions on how to install this dummy content. You might find it useful.

If there’s anything you see on the homepage but are unable to figure out how to recreate it, feel free to point me towards it so I can help you along.

    Hi Erik,

I shall continue in English, as some might come to this topic with the same issue.

I am aware of our dummy content not importing properly on a sub domain with some of our other themes and I suspect this to be the issue here as well. Proper dummy content importing is something we’re constantly trying to improve but which seems to remain a tricky thing in some cases.

Our dummy content basically consists of some pages that show the use of some of our shortcodes and give an idea of how to work with the theme. With this as a purpose, for the dummy content to be useful (thus for you to get an idea of how to work with the theme) it does not necessarily require to be present on that domain you are working on.

Basically, what I’m getting at is that for the time being I think installing the dummy content on a main domain (can be in a sub-folder, the issue appears to be with the domain not starting with http://www., but <subdomainname>. ). And use that installation as a reference.

If there are any theme functions in particular that you would like help with, for example if you’ve seen something on our demo page http://www.theme-dutch.com/presents/mikmag that you would like to recreate but are having a hard time doing, do feel free to open a topic on the forum and ask your question. I’ll be glad to help.

    Kevin

PS: Now I haven’t spoken to Helen about this but judging from your latest post I think I understand what’s going on. I believe she might have misread. Don’t worry about it.

    Hi M.A. Bell,

Thank you very much for your feedback on this.

I think its very valuable and will definately be notifying our development team of the following things:

    - Look into providing an xml of the demo site with our theme downloads

    - Check the users that are being transferred with the SQL import

    - Look into the way a non-standard installation affects the dummy content import.

    Thanks once more.

I think your statement about the graphics is not quite right - the graphics are uploaded separately into the uploads folder through FTP. The only thing related to graphics in the database are the paths, and that should not be a problem for an XML file.

Perhaps it would be possible to go into your demo site and do an export of the XML and make it available for those who are having such difficulty with the SQL for whatever reason.

In any case, my issue is more or less solved -

I set up a second database, with a standard installation of WordPress 5, and I was able to import the dummy content.

Then I was unable to login. It seems the SQL file with the dummy content has overwritten the user I set up and replaced it with three users called ike, lenur, and jeorge.

I have gone into the database through phpMyAdmin and changed the password for one of them, and now I can login.

Now my client can go back and forth between the two sites to figure out what to do.

I have to say that I think it might be wise for you to either check the SQL file and remove those users, or put the instructions on how to change the password in phpMyAdmin in the instruction sheet about how to install the dummy content.

On the Themeforest website, where you say “This easy-to-use WordPress theme is the real McCoy and gives ultimate fredom in creative design…” it may be a good idea to stipulate that the dummy content only works on the basic default installation of WordPress 5.

I’d like the homepage to have the same layout as the demo, and keep the URL as domain.com, rather than domain.com/home/

I have read the manual, and do not see anything there about this. Also, I have so far been unable to import the dummy content successfully, so I have no basis to work from.

    How can I do this?

    Hello M.A. Bell,

You can use the information below to install dummy content. If you still not manage to install it, we refer to our installation plans.http://theme-dutch.com/services/installation-plans/

    Compatibility

Please be sure to check compatibility of your WordPress version with the version of NOTIME that you are using. You can check the compatibility on the NOTIME Themeforest page.

    Information for Internet Explorer users

NOTIME using the latest in web standards, and this template uses CSS v.3. Internet Explorer – versions 8 and below do not support the latest web standards.

    Installation

This tutorial section assumes that you have purchased the NOTIME theme, and have successfully installed the theme and activated it on your WordPress blog. Upon purchase of the NOTIME theme, you will be downloading a zip-file with the filename ‘’NOTIME – unzip me please’’.

    1. Unzip the downloaded NOTIME zip-file and extract it to any local directory on your computer.

    2. Navigate to, and open the unzipped folder. You’ll find 3 zipped folders, a LICENCING FOLDER and one READ ME! File.

    3. You can either extract and copy the unzipped NOTIME folder directly into your WP_THEMES FOLDER on your site, or alternatively install the zip through theWordpress ‘INSTALL THEMES’ PANEL

Further instructions are contained in the NOTIME Manual.

    Dummy Content

Once you’ve downloaded the theme and extracted the zip file, you will find under the UNZIP ME PLEASE folder, a folder called dummy content. Instructions for how to set up the dummy content are located in that folder along with the themedutch_notime_dump.sql file.

The dummy content is very graphic intensive. Be sure to check with your webhost provider to make sure there are no file size limitations before trying to install the dummy content.

To install the NOTIME dummy content you will need access to your phpMyAdmin software and know how to inject the SQL file.

For more information about phpMyAdmin you can visit their project page here: http://www.phpmyadmin.net/home_page/

    NOTIME Demo Content

    Short codes

Where do I find the short codes in my theme?

Whenever you create a new post or page, all of the short codes will be found by click on the highlighted N. You can see all of these in the demo by going to Features and view the short codes from there.

    Cheers,
    Helen

    P.s.
If you do not manage to install it after following the instructions above, You also can hire Theme Dutch to install your theme.

    Hi Ezra,

The mikmag theme download you got from themeforest includes a manual file. In this manual you will find information on how to set up your demo pages or “dummy content”.

This might help you further, if not do tell me where you get stuck so I can check what the issue might be
