With the same product parameters, on Joop, I get :

Thanks for your help.

I am not entirely sure what would be wrong just yet. Have you attached the image to your product by selecting it as a product image? (see screenshot).
Also, have you tried creating a new (test) product to see if anything would change? I am assuming this one was an import from your other website.
Kind regards,
Kevin18/03/2014 at 4:35 PM #63150Hi Kevin,
Thanks for your answer which give me a partial understanding of the problem.
Yesterday, I had the “WooCommerce Dynamic Gallery LITE” plugin installed and the “price” and “add to cart” was not available as this plugin overwrite the standard “Gallery” and “Product image” of woo commerce. I’ve deactivated.
The problem is that I have, for a lot of product some “add-ons” which are managed by the “WooCommerce Product Add-ons” plugin. In Joop, the price and add to cart are on the product image, which is not a problem. But the add-ons are coming just under the the price, directly on the image and it create the following problem :
1) It’s almost unreadable for the customer.
2) If the add-ons text is longer than the image, it’s going to make a mix with the “Excerpt” and even with the “description” tab.You can see that here :
In your answer and “print screen” you have “Product Image” box under the “Product Gallery”. On my “Edit product” page, I have “Gallerie Produit” (Product Gallery) and “Image à la une” (featured image). I don’t have a “Image du produit” (Product Image)… Is that a translation problem with french, or is something missing by me.
When I have no image in the gallery, the featured image is coming as a square, like it’s now if you follow the above link.
Here you can see the result with some images in the gallery :

Thanks for your support

19/03/2014 at 11:13 AM #63151Hi Jacques,
As for the image a la une, I’m not entirely sure why it would be called differently but if you’re using the “wp-dashboard->products -> add product” type pages, I believe it should behave the same as a product image. I see the product gallery does the same thing as well so I don’t think that would be the issue.
It seems like your cart-form is extremely populated (lots of very long descriptions for selection boxes). Are you using one of your add-ons for these selection boxes? and if so, which one? Or are you making these with the woocommerce standard functionalities?
I’d like to see if I can recreate it or if one of our developers could take a look at it.
Kind regards,

Yes, there is a lot of text to explain the option. For these options I use this plugin :
All other things are done with the standard functionalities of woocommerce and some of the plugins which are sold on the woo commerce site :
1) I have deactivated all plugins related to woocommere which are not produced by woo themes, no changes
2) I have deactivated all plugins related to woo commerce, but nothing change, except that the add-ons are no more available. In order to avoid any possible conflict, I let the system as in point 1) above (only woo themes products activated).
Best regards.
Jacques
19/03/2014 at 12:57 PM #63153I’ve just tried to change the product image :
- Previous one was 1200x800px
- New one is 2400x1600pxThe display is now on the right 2:3 format and this make a full width image on the product page.
However this doesn’t solve the options problem…
20/03/2014 at 11:45 AM #63163Hi Jacques,
So I went ahead and talked to our development team about this to see how I could help you with this. The thing is that the JOOP theme was created to be compatible with woocommerce itself. Then on top of that, it was made compatible with some add-ons as well.
However, for the same reason as why we cannot ensure perfect compatibility with all wordpress plugins, (simply because there are too many and there are always new ones), we cannot ensure perfect compatibility with all add-ons for woocommerce either.
Now this add-on itself does appear to work because here’s what it does:
It adds fields into the woocommerce product purchase form.In our theme design, we’ve placed the product purchase form on top of the product image, which means that these additional entries to the form will also show up there. That’s what’s happening.
However, when using many and long additional fields, this comes to exceed the space reserved for it in the design, leading to what we’re seeing on your website. Now because the add-on inserts its values into the woocommerce-generated form, this part cannot be separated and displayed differently. The only way would be to change the theme’s design into not showing the form on top of the image at all, but moving the entire thing down underneath the image. So in summary the case appears to be that the use of this add-on (in this specific way) conflicts with the theme’s design, causing it all to look bad. A way to counter this would probably be to alter the theme to show the woocommerce form at a different place on the page. Though I think that will require a fairly large customization.
Kind regards,
Kevin -
