Purchased The Basics Theme and gotta say I love it. Found it really easy to use and customise and has produced an outstanding website for a client that needed it put together quickly. My only problem so far is that the editor in the back-end at first did not work, then started allowing me to make changes such as colour and custom sidebars etc, and has now stopped working again. I haven’t made any plugin changes since installing the theme, and have even de-activated all the plugins to try and relieve the problem, but unfortunately it still persists. Just found it a bit strange that it suddenly started working out of the blue, and the stopped again :/ Any help here would be very much appreciated. Many thanks. Phil

    Hi Phil,

What exact editor do you mean? The editor when making a page or post? Or do you mean the theme options found in appearance -> the basics?

This last one could happen if you’ve got no posts on the website. Creating a post (no need to display it anywhere) can solve that. The theme options need posts to be able to update properly.
