CHAMPI is suffering from the same bug that MikMag and NoTIME and a few other themes have. Whenever you add multiple images to NIVO slider with links, after the first image loads, the ability to click on the links in the next images disappears. Very disappointing, because there are very few slider options in CHAMPI, and without the ability to click on the links in the slideshow, that renders the NIVO slider entirely useless. This should not have been released with a known bug that was affecting your other themes.

I’ve sent this through to our development team.

08/04/2013 at 8:07 PM #11289Thanks Kevin, I hope I didn’t come across very cross, but I just feel like this one probably shouldn’t have slipped by? You can delete these thread, just let me know when this bug is fixed.
Thanks,
11/04/2013 at 4:11 PM #11308Change this line:
file: /nivoslider/nivo-slider.css
line: 43
“display: block;”
change it to “display: none;”
Worked for me!
04/06/2013 at 2:24 PM #11872Hey Kevin, has this been updated yet to work?
04/06/2013 at 6:38 PM #11879This hasn’t been updated in Champi yet as the new, overhauled Mikmag has had the priotity for a bit. I’ve re-issued a bug report on this though to make sure it doesn’t get forgotten.
For the time being, have you tried the codefix suggested by Rich?
Kind Regards,
Kevin
07/06/2013 at 6:41 PM #11929This worked until the slides cycled through and then the link option stops again.
07/06/2013 at 10:28 PM #11934Hmm, ok. Probably because the slides get re-initialized when they have made a full cycle, causing them to grab onto the faulty code again. I’m guessing it to be something like that.
