It seems odd to me that we do NOT have a 300×600 brick size.

    We have:

    150×150 and 300×300 square
    300×150 and 600×300 wide rectangle

So I might have expected to have:
    150×300 and 300×600 long rectangle

So either I have an old revision, or perhaps something is missing.

If not, are there plans to include this brick size in the new version?

My client is not putting me under any time pressure at the moment but it would certainly help to know when the new version was planned for release.

    Hi Steven,

There is indeed no brick that has the dimensions 300×600. And I know that right at this moment, there are no plans to add it, possibly because it was never brought up before. I will add this as a suggestion to our development team so they can decide what to with it in a next theme version. When exactly there will be a theme update for James, I cannot accurately tell. There aren’t any officially planned yet.

    Thanks Kevin. Much appreciated.
I’m puzzled when you say there is no update version officially planned for James.
In the Themeforest area there are many comments saying James is not compatible with WP 3.4.2 and that an update to make it compatible is iminent?
    Could you clarify please.

    Regards

    Hi Steven,

A standard compatibility update for all of our themes is something we’ve got planned for when our current builds on newer themes complete. It’s not set to an exact date yet though, nor can I promise that it will contain a bunch of new features (since this will be something in which we will be updating compatibility of all our themes, it’s mainly based on achieving that and not on upgrading the themes with new features). Since your question mostly focussed on newer features (however minor in this case) I figured I wouldn’t count the compatibility fixes as something of direct value for you.

I do know that we are running closer and closer to these compatibility updates
