Hi, I downloaded the Cesare template but I am having a few issues. My website is http://www.greenolive2012.com
1. Nothing happens when I change the heading colors.
2. Can I make the black background of my posts a little lighter so that more of the full width picture in the background shows?
3. Am I able to hide the slideshow bar?
4. Can I lock the menu bar so that it doesn’t move when I minimize the screen?
5. There is no option for pattern overlay. It says:

Hi Geraldine,
1. Changing the heading colors should show changes to for example the heading on this page http://greenolive2012.com/?page_id=7 Does nothing happen to that when altering it?
2. The black background here is made using a semi-transparent image. Replacing this image from the theme’s files with a more transparent will be the way to get this result.
3. I’m guessing you mean the bar with the thumbnail images (as seen on your homepage). I’m afraid that’s not a theme option. The only way to get rid of it would be by changing things within the theme’s code.
4. I am not entirely sure I understand what you mean, but think this is directed towards the menu moving upwards when you click the arrow thingy, bottom right corner of for example http://greenolive2012.com/?page_id=152 This theme fucntion is built to move away the menu too, so the only thing to do here would be altering the code for it to do something else.
5. That looks as though some files are missing ( the patterns you try to access). first thing you could try is to download a fresh version of the theme and replace the currently installed version with this fresh version, to make sure all the files are there.

I saw your post and some of your questions i’ll answer here.
You’ll have to change the heading colors at Admin / Appearance. There you go to Cesare and arrive at Cesares admin. Choose Colors, and there you change and save the heading colors.
Patterns you can change at Cesare’s page options at every page.
(These warnings should not occur)
This theme is not responsive, so you can not lock the menu.
