Is there a way to modify the 3-column layout of the content section of the category/archive/blog page? The excerpts are too large, in my opinion, and I would prefer to either have them in two columns or inline with smaller featured images. Something similar to the shortcode layout of latest posts would be great. I’ve searched through the php files but am not finding it.

Also noticed there is no page formats to choose from - sitemap, contact. A little disappointed in purchasing a theme that claims 9 different page layouts to find that it only means with regard to sidebars and footers (which are great!). Will this perhaps be something in a future update? And how often do the themes get updated?

    Thank you.

    *Edit:

P.S. I have the ‘News’ page (set up as the posts page under the ‘Reading’ section of ‘Settings’) to have the wide sidebar on the right and it is not showing up. It maintains the fullwidth with no sidebar.

(Sorry about not editing first post again, the option is gone.)

Unchecked ‘News’ as the posts page and left that blank, now the shortcode for latest posts is working as well as the sidebar, as well as the breadcrumb, but no pagination (obviously). However, all other category/archive pages are still un-modifiable.

Where is the Category/Archive.php file? Not showing up in my c-panel > wp-content > themes > Freeze (> core).

    Hi,

you can actually select how large the blocks should appear in the post options, you can use that to change their sizes and make it a 2-column layout.
