Hi,
I have problem with my brick home page. I can’t put this in order. There is always some blank space, and there is doubled image (post) on my brick home page (orange one) .
I figured out how to place bricks and everything, but this is problem for me, I don’t know how to erase another (same) image from home.
I tried to delete all posts and start all over again, but it is still double brick (or post), the one that I post first.
Also here, on this category http://markogavrilovic.com/?cat=34 I’ve placed background image in category settings but it isn’t displayed when I click on About me category.
Thanks
Marko
04/02/2013 at 4:39 PM #10564Hi,
I don’t see any double posts on your homepage anymore so I’m taking you managed to get rid of that?
As for the category background, I’ve taken a look at my test site and it appears to work there, I’ve added a screenshot of how I set that up, does that look the same as in your dashboard?

I didn’t find the way to get rid of it.
It is a double post, two posts with the same image on the brick home page. But I only put one post.
When I try to delete the other, I lost the first also, and than, the next post in the order after them is also duplicated etc.
You can see one on the right corner (bottom) name Strange bird, and you can see the other one at the end of the home brick page (name Strange bird). It is the first post. http://markogavrilovic.com/
Other question, About me category settings I did in this order:
dashboard, appearance, James, category setup, about me, set as a post, I uploaded image, one, two, save, but nothing. I changed image, transition speed, but still nothing? I managed to this in other categories in my web site but here I get blank background? http://markogavrilovic.com/?cat=34
05/02/2013 at 8:29 AM #10579I want to ad track code on my html page in dashboard. Where should I put this code, I can’t find head section?
Can you guide me to set this?
Thanks

06/02/2013 at 4:29 PM #10595Hi Marko,
I see the double now, thanks for clarifying.
For both these problems I’m actually not sure what could be causing them when looking at it from the front-end. Could you perhaps supply me with an admin account so I can take a brief look at how the back-end was set up? I think that might help me understand what’s going on. You can send me a private message on the forums with the information, if you’d like.

06/02/2013 at 6:52 PM #10601That would be great Kevin!
My email is [email protected] , and than you could send me yours, to supply you with details you need to access my account (because I don’t know how to send private message through the forum).
Probably I did something wrong in settings.
Thanks

07/02/2013 at 5:03 PM #10616Hi,
That was an interesting search, but I’ve found both causes.
The first one, double post happened because you still had the hello world post, which did not have a featured image. Somehow, it would take the featured image of the next post and display that. I’ve moved the hello world post to the trash, which solves it.
The category background appears to not work because the category is a parent. If you’d remove both child categories you’ll most probably see that the background will start running properly.

You helped me a lot.I’ll try do correct this parent thing, but still, I removed both child categories, and I changed background image and saved it, but still nothing.
If you’ll have time to correct this, it’s Ok with me, if you erase something in this category I’ll post it again.
( This, Only if it is not to much of your time lost on this issue).Best!
Marko08/02/2013 at 3:35 PM #10627Hi Marko,
Perhaps it would work to create a new category, add the posts from about me to that one, set up the background image and then when it’s done, delete the old about me category and rename this new one about me.
