I believe you might be running a PHP version not yet supported by the empress theme and think that after the next update (which also contains WP3.5 compatibility) that problem should be solved. For now, downgrading your currently used PHP version might be helpful.

Please clarify, so it will not work until an updated version is made?
Will it be able to work on Empress, when will I be able to add a PINTREST icon at the top with the other sociables?
It is still there, do you have a resolution for this? Again, I ask?
