I installed the most recent WordPress version which is working absolutely fine with the standard themes. Then I installed the James theme and it creates the following error(s):
(Warning: Creating default object from empty value in /homepages/36/d125858328/htdocs/dmawp/wp-content/themes/James/lib/seo/smart_framework/functions/core.php on line 8
Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /homepages/36/d125858328/htdocs/dmawp/wp-content/themes/James/lib/seo/smart_framework/functions/core.php:8) in /homepages/36/d125858328/htdocs/dmawp/wp-includes/option.php on line 563

I have no clue what causes this. Please help!
01/12/2012 at 6:34 PM #9329Hi,
James theme is still being updated for full WP 3.4.2 compatibility. I believe that might be the problem on this one, perhaps going back one version in wordpress would solve this.
03/12/2012 at 10:08 AM #9334Hi DeMatasAteliers,
Did you install the latest version of James 1.5?
09/12/2012 at 7:48 PM #9368Hello,
I have the same problem with James. I am on the 1.5 version of James and I have the same warnings. Is there an easy solution or do I have to install the former version of James? When will be the James update be available?
10/12/2012 at 8:00 AM #9369I am using that theme also for my blog http://www.meltdownproject.com- here it’s the 1.1 version of the James theme and it seem to run perfect with wordpress 3.4.2…
10/12/2012 at 8:40 AM #9370just tried to install the older version of the James theme (1.1), but there are the same warnings as with 1.5 version. I don’t really get why as the other blog runs perfect without any additional adjustments…
10/12/2012 at 4:24 PM #9376my solution:
a friend of mine found out that somehow the theme doesn’t work with PHP 5.4. We switched on a PHP 5.2 and now it works without those warnings.
11/12/2012 at 4:38 PM #9389I’ve passed that on to our developers, to check out the PHP5.4 thing
11/12/2012 at 4:53 PM #9391if you guys want to double check: this is the site http://www.kanoni.at and it seems not run fine- no problems yet.
17/12/2012 at 5:22 PM #9474When can we expect a version of James 1.5 which runs with PHP 5.4 without any bugs? I’s like to install woo commerce, but woo commerce requests PHP 5.4 and not 5.2 as I have to use now to have James 1.5 bug free.
17/12/2012 at 6:58 PM #9475is it possible to get a screen shot from the backend of one of the shop product sites? Somehow there is no option for a background image… are those shop pages build as an normal article or page maybe?!
18/12/2012 at 10:15 AM #9487What about the shortcodes? Where is the shortcode manager. Could you write a couple of instructions for this? What we have to do?
