First, I would like to say that Theme Dutch is the babe ruth of WordPress theme design. I thank you for all your hard work.

Next, I am having a few issues with the seduction theme I purchased a few months back and I would greatly appreciate some help. For reference, the website i’m working on is http://www.oakpointewellnesscenter.com

1) Grace Slider - Once the slider image is loaded, it sometimes carries over to the medical spa pagse, and clinic pages. So each slider image is different on each different page, but it sometimes just repeats the code of the slider, thus is incorrect. I troubleshot it the slider function to find that its the entire code is repeating. I added duplicate slides and set the timer to show. Once I did that, I clicked to another page where there is only one slide, but it carried over the 2 slides with timer. I hope that is understandable.

2) Gallery - I would like to set the gallery function to auto play when opened. How do I do that?

3) Gallery - Also, the first image has a description, but the description for the first image does not show until you click a different image, and then back on the image that did not have a description.

Does anyone have any insight on these issues? Thanks for your time, in advance.

1) This first one, I’m having some trouble understanding what you mean. Lets perhaps try a different approach: could you tell me what you are looking to achieve, so I’ll get a better idea of what’s going wrong and from there can try to help you further with that.

2) This one is actually not part of the theme options, which means you can’t do it from the wp-admin panel, in order to achieve this, you would have to make changes to the theme’s files to get this functionality.

3) I’ve looked into this and it appears to be happening on my test website too. I’ll pass this on to our developing team so they can check out what’s causing this and solve it for a theme update.

Kevin,

Thank you so much for your input. I would like to address your responses so that it may better assist anyone having similar issues.

1) The problem seems to be with the features that Yahoo! Small Business auto enables upon WordPress install. The feature is called WP-Cache. It has an option to enable/disable, however Yahoo! does not function well with WordPress, thus the option to disable does not work. I found this out the hard way. I should have done a more research before choosing Yahoo! as a WordPress website host for this domain. The WP-Cache feature has a Expire time that I changed from 10,000 seconds to 5 and this problem has been resolved, for now. So just to go on record, Theme Dutch Seduction theme was not at fault.

2) I was hoping for some insight on what file contains the code for the play function. That way I could set the variable to load automatically on page load? Or for someone to tell me what line to edit in what file. My coding skills are a little rusty.

3)Awesome, tell your developing team thank you for all of the time you all put into making your customers satisfied.

Update:

Regarding Issue:

1)I figured out the glitch. I was using
<a href=”http://oakpointewellnesscenter.com/wordpress/medical-spa/”
instead of
<a href=”http://www.oakpointewellnesscenter.com/wordpress/medical-spa/”>
and for some reason it was causing a conflict within wordpress. Not sure why, but my solution was to add the www to the href.

Hi Jesse,

For this second question, I would actually have to dive into the code myself to find it, I’m not sure just from the top of my mind. I’m afraid that that would exceed what we can help you with as far as our free support goes.

Perhaps a premium support account would be an interesting thing for you. I too expect the solution to indeed be no more than a single variable that requires changing. If that is correct I’d gladly be able to go and look for that line of code for a premium member. Might save you some time looking for it yourself

Kevin
