Dear Support Team. I am using the JAMES Theme 1.1. I like the look and feel for my VITA Page… but i get many mails from my fans about the usability. Is it possible to change the link function on the Homepage? It would be great to link on the article directly just by clicking on the brick. Most of my users can’t find the little cross on the right to see the article. Is it possible to change this… i dont need the gallery function on the brick homepage… thanks for your help .. and happy new year

Theme James has been updated several times now and its already version 1.5. We can not support this old version anymore. James will be updated to WordPress 3.5 on short notice also.
The latest version of James (1.5) contains completely new shortcodes. Be ware before you update the theme, the old shortcodes (which you might use) don’t work anymore.Hello Helen
thanks for quick reply. i know that you updated the theme and a take a look at the new demo version. i will update it very soon but the question is… can i change the function of the brick gallery on the homepage? i just wanna open the link by clicking on the picture not on the small cross. i dont need the lightbox gallery at the homepage.
i think it should be changed in the php code… right?

Hi Sheila,
It isn’t a theme function to change that so I’m afraid you can indeed not change it from the admin panel. I am unsure off the top of my mind, but it could either be a php or a jquery thing you’ll need to be changing.
